A 9 year old girl was killed in a freak boating accident in Cedar Creek Lake, southwest of Dallas. There were four children on board the accident, all of whom had life jackets on. The 9 year old girl became tangled in a rope and then fell overboard next to the boat’s motor. No alcohol was involved in the accident. Experts say the father was operating the boat in a safe manner.
