Haltom City police arrested a drunk driving suspect who was accused of hitting a boy on a bicycle. The accident happened around 8 p.m. on a weeknight near Huddleston Street and Banner Drive.

Unfortunately, even with all of the education that has been directed at preventing drunk driving over the past several decades, there are still a huge amount of deaths and serious injuries attributable to drunk driving. Over 10,000 people are killed in the U.S. every year because of drunk drivers, which accounts for almost one-third of automobile fatalities.
If you or a loved one has been seriously injured or killed in an accident involving a drunk driver in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, you are not alone. It’s important that you hire an attorney who can help you stand up for your legal rights. Even if the person who caused the accident does not receive a citation for drunk driving, he or she can still be held liable.
